The Annual SPUN Conference

SPUN holds an annual conference to bring together members from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond, in one location. Conferences are usually held in October or November.

2023 SPUN Conference - Brisbane

The 2023 SPUN Conference will be held in person in Brisbane.

Wed 25th October to Friday 27th October.

2022 SPUN Conference

The 2022 SPUN Conference will again be held ONLINE. 

  • SPUN Week will be held on 14 - 17 November 2022. All events are free. 
  • SPUN AGM will be held on Thursday 16 November at 1pm (AEDT).

2021 SPUN Conference

The 2021 SPUN Conference was held ONLINE and all events were free of charge this year.

  • Dates are 6-10 December 2021. All events are free.

  • SPUN AGM will be held on Thursday 9 December at 2pm (AEDT).

SPUN conducted its AGM during the conference and included the election of Executive Positions.

Conference Objectives

  • To hold a SPUN AGM to conduct necessary business.
  • To provide a forum for Civica to present members with new/improved features and developments in Spydus.
  • To provide Civica with feedback on Spydus and have input into its future development.
  • To showcase innovative applications and projects involving Spydus.
  • To increase members' awareness of technology trends and opportunities that may influence Spydus and library operations.
  • To obtain information on the business plans, performance and status of Civica, the company.
  • To provide members with opportunities to network and exchange information.
  • To provide members with an informative, stimulating, enjoyable and value-for-money conference experience.
