SPUN email Discussion list

Purpose of the list

The purpose of the SPUN discussion list is to promote the discussion and sharing of information between SPUN/Spydus sites.

Replies are set to come back to the list by default

This helps foster discussion and information sharing.

Therefore there is little reason for "please reply to list" emails to be sent.

There is a slight cost of the occasional embarrassing replies to the list that are meant for colleagues but we believe the extra discussion and information sharing are worth it.

You will have to change the recipients if you wish to avoid replying to the list.

Civica Staff are on the list

This is useful for SPUN members and Civica staff.

Posting to the List should not replace logging Incidents

Even though Civica staff are on the list, site-specific problems have a slight risk of not being acted on if only sent to the list.

Different server versions and parameter settings may be causing site-specific issues and this information is not always clear in a list post.

By all means still post and discuss on the list but your primary place for reporting errors should be to Civica .
